Sweet Palo Santo wood, otherwise known as "Holy Wood" and Peruvian sage, has been used since ancient times by the Incas and Peruvians as an incense for purifying and for clearing or warding off of hucha (Quecha for heavy energy) or spirits. Many people also report that the scent of palo santo has a calming/relaxing effect. Because of its sacredness it is frequently used in despacho ceremonies as a spiritual offering. Comes with instructional booklet on the Smudging Ceremony and how to clear hucha (Quechua for heavy energy) from a person or house.

Can be lit as an incense (never leave unattended) and will extinguish after a few moments, adding a wonderful sweet scent to the air. Can also be used unlit as a sachet in closets and drawers.

In the Peruvian shamanic tradition these woven cloths were used to wrap a newborn child, and then that cloth became theirs for life. Shamans valued the innocent energy contained in the cloths, and would use them to wrap their mesas in (healing stones).

Imported direct from the Cusco area, this mesa cloth alternates the classic Q'ero Ch'unchu (people/jungle dwellers) pattern in warm oranges and browns, reds and greens. Interspersed are solid black and orange/red panels, and slender stripes of orange and green, red and teal, and black. This Q'ero cloth is "dolbe cara," double face, which is why they are considered the master weavers of Peru, as the pattern repeats on both sides of the cloth.

Imported direct from the Cusco area, this mesa cloth alternates the classic Q'ero Ch'unchu (people/jungle dwellers) pattern in warm oranges and blacks, oranges and light brown. Interspersed are solid black and maroon panels, and slender stripes of orange and green, red and teal, and black. This Q'ero cloth is "dolbe cara," double face, which is why they are considered the master weavers of Peru, as the pattern repeats on both sides of the cloth.

The unkhuna is a special type of woven cloth used by Andean Q'ero shamans for casting coca leaves for divination during ceremonies. The Q'ero have one of the strongest traditions of shamanism in Peru. This is an authentic unkhuna, handmade in Cusco, Peru. Like other types of textiles, unkhunas are hand-woven on looms, but they are relatively small and have tassels on each corner.

These colorful hat bands are woven with intricate beading, and have tassels and pom-poms on either end. They are wrapped around your hat for a colorful Peruvian accent, or may be used as a decorative wrap for a shaman's mesa, although they are too wide to be used to tie it closed.
